Casino: A Historic Landmark with Modern Sound Technology
The Evian-les-Bains Casino is a French gambling establishment located in Haute-Savoie, on the shores of Lake Geneva, just a few metres from a ferry terminal to Lausanne and a few kilometres from Geneva, Switzerland.

Originally built in 1911 as a municipal casino, it was later entrusted to the Société des Eaux, which eventually became part of the Danone Group.

In 2024, at the request of Danone, extensive renovation work was undertaken to further enhance the casino’s grandeur and restore its original brilliance and prestige.

As part of these renovations, the building required both a safety sound system for fire evacuation and an ambient sound system to provide background music in the corridors and the casino’s restaurant.

Additionally, a high-power sound system was installed for live events and performances on the stage in the slot machine hall, located beneath the casino’s iconic 25-metre-high dome.

The VX-3000 system was chosen, complemented by an audio matrix for managing various sound sources, including digital wireless microphones, music sources, and remote connection panels. These components are connected to separate racks and communicate via a Dante network.

Each area, including the restaurants, is equipped with a touchscreen control panel, allowing users to adjust volume levels and select the desired audio source.
