New management for TOA in Europe, Middle East and Africa

TOA Electronics Europe GmbH move boldly into the future with new management.

As of April 1^st, 2023, TOA Electronics Europe GmbH (TEE) completed a change in management:

Kosuke Tanaka replaced Yuichiro Honjo as Director and took over responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. Yuichiro Honjo, with his many years of experience in several global subsidiaries of TOA as a director, is now appointed by TOA’s Headquarters in Kobe, Japan, as General Manager of the International Business Promotion Department.

Dr. Thomas Schäfers, the head of TEE headquarters  in Hamburg, retired after several years as a leading manager. His role was filled by Volker Scheid, who re-joined TOA as Director after a short time in the security industry. With Kosuke Tanaka and Daisuke Imagawa who was appointed as Managing Director of TEE in 2022, Volker Scheid completes the new management trio of Directors at TEE.

Daisuke Imagawa sees TEE’s new management trio and its employees as a guarantee for the healthy development of the company: “All in all, top management has been rejuvenated considerably and thus lays the foundation for the optimal success of TOA in the future – stable conditions are in place on which further growth of the company can be built. TEE is growing steadily and sustainably.”

Yuichiro Honjo has been the Managing Director of TOA Corporation (UK) Ltd as an executive of the EMEA Business Department since 2018, and from 2021 he has been Deputy General Manager of EMEA Business Department and Director of TEE, where he has been promoting inorganic strategy, remote maintenance services and other new projects. He has long contributed to the growth of TOA's international business in Southeast Asia (TOA Electronics Malaysia, TOA Electronics Vietnam) and in EMEA.
His extensive global business experience is recognised with his appointment as General Manager of the International Business Promotion Department in Kobe at TOA's Headquarters.

Kosuke Tanaka is assigned as Deputy General Manager of EMEA Business Department, as Director of TEE and as Managing Director of TOA Corporation (UK) Ltd. Mr. Tanaka worked at TEE for 4 years from 2009 in the Export Sales Department and during this time established the current UAE office in Dubai. In his former position at TOA's HQ, as the General Manager of the International Business Promotion Department, he was responsible for the strategic promotion of TOA's international business. He has extensive global business experience from previous positions at TOA Electronics Inc.(USA) and TOA Corporation (UK) Ltd.

Dr. Thomas Schäfers had been appointed 2017 to manage global and local products in the EMEA region as the head of the Product Management department. From 2022, he was the General Manager of TEE's head office located in Germany.

Volker Scheid started his career at TEE in 2007 as Export Sales Manager implementing strategic sales concepts and developing international key accounts. His expertise was recognised, and he was appointed as Director from 2019 until end of 2021. He gained experience in the international security business before re-joining TOA in 2023.
